This chapter was challenging to me. There is a lot of really good things in there. I think the part about not showing partiality really jumped out at me. I think this is part of Newsong's Core beliefs! All are accepted! Equally!

This chapter just makes me think about how often my actions show faith. And i don't think it's that often!!! I think opportunities to act in faith are often snubbed out by what's 'sensible' or 'practical'. I often get caught up in trying to balance these things.
But today I'm praying for more awareness and openness to God. Responding to however He leads in every situation. Because obedience to His voice IS already faith in action
